CoinCover is a blockchain cybersecurity company that protects cryptocurrency users by securing assets and access through preventive measures, recovery solutions, and insurance-backed warranties.
The company’s new branding highlights its role in providing preventative technology within the blockchain cybersecurity industry.
CoinCover sought to refresh its outdated visual identity and align it with its evolving business offerings. The goal was to create a modern, cohesive brand that better reflected their innovative approach to preventative blockchain cybersecurity.
I undertook a comprehensive rebranding of CoinCover to align their identity with their evolving business offering. The refreshed brand effectively communicated CoinCover's innovation and leadership in blockchain cybersecurity, strengthening its connection with the target audience and reinforcing trust in its services.

I conducted in-depth stakeholder interviews and a discovery workshop with the wider team to uncover business needs and align the rebrand with organisational goals. These insights informed the creative direction, ensuring the brand accurately reflected internal priorities.
KEY INSIGHTS
Research revealed that CoinCover internally identifies more as a protection and risk mitigation company than as a DeFi or entirely crypto-focused entity. This perspective highlights their emphasis on trust, security, and accessibility, positioning them as a gateway for broader audiences into blockchain technology, rather than catering exclusively to crypto enthusiasts.
This moodboard was chosen to guide CoinCover's colour palette, aiming to visually communicate the brand's core values of safety, security, and peace of mind. These colours represent the key emotional connections for CoinCover’s mission to safeguard digital assets.
The vibrant neon yellow evokes visibility and protection.
The deep blue reinforces trust and reliability.
The serene pastel tones suggest calm and reassurance.
CoinCover's new brand identity focuses on layers of safety and security, visually symbolised by protective shields. This design reflects their threefold mission: protecting users, mitigating human error, and ensuring recovery.
CoinCover's new branding is consistently and effectively applied across all touch points including campaigns, organic and paid advertising, printed collateral and exhibition stands.
